A MAGIC CARPET GIVES INNER TUBING SNOWY SLOPE SLIDERS A LIFT THIS WINTER

Two Big Bear inner tube parks offer all the fun of sliding down a slope without the work of trudging back up the hill.

Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain provides downhill sleding and Big Bear Snow Play, has a Magic Carpet uphill lift for inner tubing. The "magic carpet" is a large moving conveyor belt, similar to an airport terminal people-mover.

Both parks have ski-resort quality snowmaking systems and are groomed nightly, just as ski resorts do. They are now open and expect to have snow through April.

All day snow-play passes are available at Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain for $25 per person. All day passes at Big Bear Snow Play are also $25 per person. All day passes include inner tube rental and Magic Carpet use. The parks are open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Night tubing is also available at Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain on Fridays, Saturdays and holidays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and cost $15. Midweek, non-holiday group discounts are also available for groups of 35 people or more. Please call 909-866-4626 for more details.
