CLOWNING AROUND AT EL PUEBLO

El Pueblo Historic Park and Olvera Street, across from Union Station in Downtown L.A., is a colorful destination anytime and there is almost always something going on there. Last Sunday the color quotient was quadrupled as a troop of crazily costumed clowns came into town to entertain the crowd in La Plaza.


Olvera Street is also one of the most colorful shopping areas in L.A., where you'll find everything from wrestling masks to maracas and marionettes.

Take the Metro to Union Station and walk across the street. If you drive, parking is available in nearby lots, although it will cost you. More info about El Pueblo and Olvera Street.
