On Thursday, April 5, 2012, Los Angeles’ premier street art gallery, Lab Art, will host the LA launch of Red Bull Curates: The Road to Basel. This will be the first stop of the four-city, Red Bull-sponsored tour that will provide the opportunity for three of the 20 competing contemporary artists in each city to win an all-expense-paid showcase at Miami’s famed international art fair, Art Basel, in December 2012. The artists’ creative processes will also be memorialized in a series of mini-documentaries filmed by an award-winning Indie director.
