Celebrating its sixth anniversary, KCON USA presented by Toyota is the world’s largest Korean culture convention and music festival, with over 110,000 passionate fans in attendance last year across both coasts. KCON Los Angeles, which spans three days under the banner theme ‘Let’s KCON,’ will take place within the Staples Center, the Los Angeles Convention Center, and the surrounding entertainment district on August 18-20. The convention footprint will be triple the size of previous years, adding more of everything in a larger space. Tickets to the convention are $15 for one day and $25 for all three days. Tickets for all KCON 2017 LA activities including the convention and concert can be purchased through www.kconusa.com.

The Convention:
KCON LA features workshops, panels, booths, and a Korean marketplace with over 200 local merchants, businesses, and food vendors. Attendees can find booths representing various aspects of Korean culture including food, music, television and film, fashion, beauty, and more including:

• Beauty Block:
Back at KCON LA by popular demand is the Beauty Block, a 14,000 square foot block dedicated to Korean beauty. Dozens of brands and influencers will be in attendance, providing a great opportunity to fully experience K-beauty though various on-going demos and samplings. There will also be special meet & greets with beauty influencers.

• KCON Food Street by KTOWN NIGHT MARKET:
A giant street food fair – curated by KCON NIGHT MARKET and serving up some of the best local Korean fare – will take-over a road at L.A. Live.

• Flower Boy Café:
Part of the convention floor will be transformed into a café where the wait-staff will help fans live out some of their favorite K-drama fantasies as they serve patrons coffee and treats. Tickets to the café can be found at www.kconusa.com.

• K-pop Audition:
In partnership with Jellyfish, one of the leading labels from South Korea, KCON USA will for the first time host a special audition for fans to try to show off their talents and potentially get signed.

• Star Square
This section of the convention will consist of a booth on the show floor where fans will be able to get up close and personal with K-pop artists for activities such as autograph sessions. It will be open to all convention attendees and the lineup of participating artists will be announced soon.

• K-Drama & Movie Screening Room
Always a favorite spot for KCON-ers, the screening room will be showing the hottest Korean dramas and films coming out of South Korea all day long.

• Klub KCON:
The night before KCON begins, a dance party playing all the best K-pop hits will be held at L.A. Live. In recent years, K-pop stars Amber, Dean, and MonstaX have made special appearances to perform a song or guest DJ.
