GALLERY 800

Located in the heart of the famed NoHo Arts District, Gallery 800 showcases guild members’ personal art in a series of shows throughout the year.

62 artists will participate in this exhibition, including Andrea Dopaso, Set Designer on Star Trek (2009) and Illustrator on Angels & Demons (2009); Mike Denering, Scenic Artist working on a 600 foot backdrop for Universal’s New York City backlot which was damaged in the fires of 2009; Patrick Tatopoulos, Special Effects Makeup Designer on Gallowwalker (2010) and Creature Designer on The Ruins (2008); and Ryan Woodward, Animatic Artist on Iron Man 2 (2010) and Storyboard Artist on Where the Wild Things Are (2009). Work from various mediums, including watercolors, oils, acrylics, textiles, mixed media and photography, will be featured.

Art Unites will run until March 20.

During the day, these artists are leading design professionals, who through a combination of
observation, passion and imagination, bring the writer's words and the director's vision to life on
the screens of television and film.

Gallery 800 hours are Thursday through Saturday 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Sunday 2:00 pm –
6:00 pm.
