LACMA’s Photographic Arts Council and the Wallis Annenberg Photography Department present SUMMER MIX: Images by Members of LACMA's Photographic Arts Council, a new exhibition of photographs at the Creative Photography Workshops/Gallery, 6020 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90036.
SUMMER MIX will open on Saturday, July 17, 2010 from 12 to 6 pm as part of the Miracle Mile Art Walk (http://www.miraclemileartwalk.com/galleries.html), followed by a special reception from 6 to 9 pm. The exhibition is open on Fridays and Saturdays and will run until Saturday, August 14.
About the SUMMER MIX Exhibition
Organized by LACMA’s Photographic Arts Council (PAC), SUMMER MIX showcases the diverse voices of 43 of its members, among whom are professional photographers, gallery owners, collectors, educators, serious amateurs, and photo enthusiasts. SUMMER MIX illustrates the important role PAC plays in fostering community-wide appreciation of photography, celebrating the richly layered photographic community of Los Angeles.
