Kenneth Walker Dance Project (KWDP), a contemporary ballet company, premieres new works along with audience favorites for the sixth season in a row in an evening entitled "From the Ground Up" one night only on Saturday, August 14, 2010, 7:30 pm at Martha B. Knoebel Dance Theatre, California State University Long Beach, 6200 East Atherton, Street, Long Beach CA 90840. Tickets are $14 presale, $17 at the door, $10 for students/seniors. All purchases at the door are cash/check only. Tickets are available at www.kennethwalkerdanceproject.org/tickets.

KWDP will showcase "Drift" set to the commissioned music of composer, Wes Hambright, "Purgatory," Kenneth Walker’s all female ballet reflecting on the cyclical nature of life and the afterlife, and audience favorite “Flesh and Blood.” Guest choreographers Ken Datugan and Angela Jordan will round out the event.
