TELL YOUR FRIENDS

1998 Version of the famous musical with music and lyrics by Kander and Ebb. "In Here, Life is Beautiful!" In a Berlin nightclub, as the 1920’s draw to a close, a garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the CABARET. With the Emcee’s bawdy songs as wry commentary, CABARET explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Cliff, a young American writer newly arrived in Berlin, is immediately taken by English singer Sally Bowles. Meanwhile, Fräulein Schneider, proprietor of Cliff and Sally’s boarding house, tentatively begins a romance with Herr Schultz, a mild-mannered fruit seller who happens to be Jewish. Musical numbers include “Willkommen,” “Cabaret,” “Don’t Tell Mama” and “Two Ladies.”

NO LATE SEATING. We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes prior to the beginning of the show to allow you ample time to park, find a seat, have a snack or a drink, say hi to friends, and take it all in! - Accessible seating is available. The front entrance of the Colony is located at the corner of 3rd Street and Cypress Avenue, just off the I-5 Freeway. FREE PARKING is available adjacent to the building on two sides and underneath, as the building is embedded in the mall parking garage's northeast corner, directly across the street from Ikea.

Concessions will be available for purchase. Adult Beverages will also be sold to those 21+ prior to the show and during intermission.

Specific Self-Parking Help: Enter the parking garage on Third Street, between Cypress and Magnolia. (The sign says "East Garage, 501 N. 3rd Street" and is located next to Burlington Coat Factory) You will be on level 4, which is the one you want. Follow the signs to the Colony Theatre that you will see overhead. Drive to the end of the aisle and make a right. Drive to the end of that aisle and make another right. The 2nd theatre entrance is at Section 4e, in the northeast corner of the garage.

NOTE: It is always a good idea to verify date, time, location and other information prior to going.
