On Sunday, April 7, 2019 the WPC Chancel Choir and Chamber Orchestra will present Mozart’s Requiem in D minor, K. 626 at Westwood Presbyterian Church. Wolfgang Mozart’s final composition, the Requiem in D minor, K. 626, reconstructed in the early 1980’s by Richard Maunder, will be performed by soloists Christina Borgioli (soprano), Nandani Maria Sinha (alto), Orson Van Gay (tenor), and Matthew Lewis (bass) and the WPC Chancel Choir and Chamber Symphony under the direction of Dan Redfeld. The Maunder recording was made famous by Christopher Hogwood’s 1984 Editions de l’Oiseau – Lyre label and is rarely performed in the United States. Admission to the concert is $20 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets are available on Eventbrite or at the door. Guests under 18 are admitted free. Free parking is available adjacent to the church at the AVCO/iPic lot. For more information, please call us at (310) 474-4535.
