The festival’s diverse roster of performers is drawn from across the US and around the world. Along with a sampling of the freshest voices in comedy stand-up, festivalgoers will enjoy a improv comedy showcase, workshops , and a comedy film festival, all in the shadow of the Hollywood sign. Live music, beverages and food and under the sun on the tree-lined pavillion.
A slate of workshops provides in-depth instruction on standup, improv, joke writing, and comedy podcasting, mockumentary while other programming focuses on how to start a career in comedy and how to distinguish yourself from the stand-up crowd. Between events, there’ll be plenty of opportunities for networking.
Also included is a Tribute to Mixed Nuts Comedy Club that had all the comedy top talent circa Los Angeles 1998-2008 including Kevin Hart, Chelsea Handler and Chris Tucker to name a few. The festival brings together the comics, the agents, managers, casting directors, and networking opportunities to create more roles for comics and to showcase their creative talent. LA’s comedy scene is brilliant, it’ll be a celebration of diverse, rising, hilarious comedic voices.
