Hordes of rotting revelers are rising from their graves preparing to invade the Rainbow Lagoon. Long Beach Zombie Fest scares up a hell of a good time in truly macabre fashion with an assortment of activities for the whole family to enjoy. You're invited to shuffle your corpses to Long Beach for three days of fun this Halloween season. The wannabe walking dead will channel their inner zombie at this three-day festival as they take over Long Beach.

Costumes are encouraged, but not mandatory. COME DEAD OR ALIVE!

DON'T HAVE A COSTUME? Halloween is a classic holiday for getting things done at the last minute, if at all. Long Beach Zombie Fest takes the stress out of costume shopping by providing a team of killer Hollywood artists from Cinema Makeup School to turn you into a flesh-eating zombie. This service is completely free, too.

This apocalyptic festival is jam-packed with live entertainment. IDOL X/A Billy Idol tribute band brings Billy Idol to life for an epic concert on Friday as you lumber, amble and groan your way through the event. On Sunday, be sure to check out Long Beach’s own Knyght Ryder Band as they pay tribute to the 80s. And, Auzzy Blood brings his Vegas freakshow to the party, pushing the boundaries in just about every way imaginable.

The infamous Zombie Walk is happening on all three days, as well as free makeup services by artists from Cinema Makeup School to help anyone look their gory worst. It also showcases a Haunted Maze with an Interactive Zombie Outbreak Cage, a Zombie Apocalypse Scavenger Hunt, a Nightmares interactive maze and a Thriller Workshop open to all skill levels that will teach you the infamous choreography seen in Michael Jackson’s Thriller video. Also, a live interactive reptile exhibit with a Fear Factor attraction that will push you to face your biggest fears. You can also immerse yourself in a live-action role playing session, surviving against a continuous onslaught of zombies, join in with the fastest, most intense light-based saber fencing, catch a shocking show that tests the limits of the human body, that’s known for wild, cringe-worthy stunts, snag yourself a free souvenir E-Photo, immerse yourself into a 3D Blacklight Experience, and enjoy a horde of other fun activities. With costume and brain contests for all ages and stages of decay, and of course, thousands of Zombies, it would be horrific to miss this jam-packed event.
