Architects and Celebrities Get Creative to Help Homeless Cats

WHAT: One of LA’s most innovative design events, Architects for Animals® “Giving Shelter” exhibit, brings LA’s top architects and designers together to design, build and donate functional and one-of-a-kind outdoor dwellings for cats. Also, on display at the event are cat food bowls decorated by feline-loving celebrities—including Charlize Theron, Jason Momoa, Morgan Fairchild, William Shatner, Jay Leno and Bo Derek—all of which will be available for purchase via an online auction.

WHO: The event benefits the LA-based non-profit FixNation, which provides free spay/neuter services for homeless cats (stray, abandoned and feral felines)

WHY: This artistic display of cat shelters helps raise awareness about homeless cats in a unique, collaborative way. Using the power of art and design, this event is an inventive and creative way to help animals.

About FixNation

FixNation’s award-winning programs have successfully sterilized more than 160,000 cats to date. For more information, please visit fixnation.org.
