Please join us for a special screening of The Human Element to celebrate the inaugural Half Earth Day Los Angeles. The screening will be followed by a Call to Action Q&A with acclaimed photographer James Balog, filmmaker Matthew Testa and other special guests.

Extreme weather and global warming, due to climate change, is threatening the well-being and effective functioning of American communities - large and small - and the lives of the people who live in them. While human activity is detrimentally shaping our world, many Americans are the overlooked victims of environmental change, including fisherman, firefighters, soldiers, children, coal miners and homeowners. These people are the human face of climate change.

We have a chance to respond and help reverse the change. On Half-Earth Day 2018, EarthX, EarthxFilm, EarthVision Film, EarthVision Institute, the IDA, Creative Visions, Global Green and Waldorf 100 will come together in Los Angeles to educate and inspire action for a sustainable future.

NOTE: It is always a good idea to verify date, time, location and other information prior to going.
