Feeling guilty about not having done enough to “help” and driven by her desire to “do something good,” Martha convinces her housemates to allow a spare room in the apartment to be used to house a refugee. Through the help of an NGO, Samuel, an asylum seeker from Cameroon, is placed in the home.
The young group quickly accepts Samuel into their home and each member helps him to integrate not only into the household, but in Germany as well.
