Congratulations on your interest in our trip to China in April 2010!

You will visit memorable sites both ancient and modern, enjoy a multitude of unforgettable experiences and have the opportunity to learn a great deal about how the Chinese people, business system and the country operates. China is a modern country, so you need not feel as though you are preparing to travel back in time, to a less sophisticated society. In many instances, the country is not "behind" so much as "different." For example, you will find very few ATM machines, but travelers’ checks and credit cards are accepted everywhere.

As you consider whether to travel on our 2010 China trip, please do not hesitate to ask questions. We recommend that you do some "homework" to help with your decision. Read a few travel guides and do some research on the Internet. We are convinced that this will be one of the most unique trips you will have the opportunity to make. Please do not wait too long to decide whether to accompany us, as space is limited. Below are some high points to consider when looking at the overall trip.

 The cost is $1,899 (per person, based on double-occupancy)
 Includes your round trip airfare
 5-star or 4-star hotel accommodations
 Deluxe tour buses
 Knowledgeable English-speaking tour guide in each city
 Three full meals every day
 Fees for all attractions
 Any applicable taxes
 A single room supplement is an additional $450 per person
 An upgrade to business class on the round trip flight is $5,000.
 A non-refundable registration fee of $200 per person is required and due at the time you register for the trip. This will be deducted from your total tour fare, the balance of which will be due before December 18, 2009.
 Securing or updating your passport is your responsibility and it must be valid through November 2010
 You may take care of the required VISA application process at the Chinese Consulate yourself OR if you wish for us to handle the VISA application process, you will need to provide us with your passport, a signed VISA application form, two passport photos and $145 before February 5, 2010.
 Should you need assistance completing the visa application, please ask us. A sample copy of one filled out is available for you to reference.
 Luggage specifications: Carry on luggage- 2 pieces per person not to exceed 8x14x22 and not to exceed 11 pounds in total weight. Checked in luggage- 2 bags per person not more than 107 inches in length (sum of the two) and not to exceed 50 pounds each.
 The electricity in China is 220 volts and an adapter is required to operate even an American hair dryer. However, both the adapter and the hair dryer are available at the hotels in which you will be staying.
 Though you will be treated to sumptuous regional foods, you may forgo the chopsticks and grab a Big Mac or a plate of KFC wings. To the dismay of some traditionalists, you may also partake of a genuine Starbucks latte.

Our next pre-tour orientation will be held on November 17, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce. We will answer all of your questions and familiarize you with details you will need to know for the trip. We will cover your questions such as tipping or taxis, luggage or lunches, customs or rest rooms. Whatever your questions, we will prepare you well for your adventure.

Citslinc International has 29 years of experience in the China tour business and we at the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce are confident that you will be very satisfied with the exceptional value of this trip.

We hope you will join us!
