Germany 2017, 70 min., German (with English subtitles)
Writer-Director: Jana Bürgelin, Cinematography: Florian Mag, Pierre Castillo Bernard, Editor: Jan Bihl, Jana Bürgelin Producers: Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, Cosima Maria Degler, Julia Golembiowski, Starring: Anne Zohra Berrached, Leonel Dietsche, Jan Koslowski, Anna Herrmann, Claudia Lorentz

Both in their early thirties, close friends Anne (Berrached) and Leo (Dietsche) are connected by their mutual urban background and cosmopolitan attitude. For the two friends, the city of Berlin serves as a fairy tale-like backdrop for their professional and social lives. Where the two differ is in their approach to balancing the personal with the professional.
Anne is a successful director pursuing her career with single-minded determination, leaving little room for a social life. Leo’s head is in the clouds. Struggling to cope with a difficult relationship, he instead invests his energy into trying to launch his career as a photographer. Eventually, their personal encounters and inspirational adventures cause both of them to examine the limitations of their varying approaches to life.
Bürgelin’s graduation film is an atmospheric trip into the ‘sentimental education’ of two individualists, examining both their failures and their moments of personal happiness to create an urban fairy-tale with a documentary feel.
