An environmental education center and ecological monitoring program within the nearly 300-acre city park, located on the border of Highland Park and Montecito Heights between Dodger Stadium and South Pasadena.
Over half the park is covered in walnut-oak woodland, grassland, and coastal sage scrub, a remnant of the native habitats that once rimmed the Los Angeles Basin.

5 Days a Week
Tuesday through Saturday - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
(closed Sundays, Mondays)
They also offer tours of the Audubon Center which is a self contained eco friendly building powered by solar energy.
You can use the map link above for directions by car. OR take the Metro Gold Line to the Southwest Museum station. Leave the station and go south (away from the museum). Cross through Sycamore park and use the pedestrian walkway over the Pasadena Freeway to the Audubon Center entrance. Its a short walk, but there isn't any signage to direct you.
The center offers bird watching hikes, free tai chi classes, summer camp programs for kids and other activities.
