A complimentary afternoon with author, historian and archaeologist, Dr. Patrick Hunt. Dr. Hunt will discuss his book Hannibal, a biography about a man who crossed the Alps with his war elephants and brought Rome to its knees. Dr. Hunt brings to life the story of one of the ancient world’s most brilliant and ruthless leaders.

Dr. Hunt has been teaching at Stanford University since 1993. He directed the Stanford Alpine Archaeology Project, and the Hannibal Expedition in the Alps. Dr. Hunt has appeared on National Geographic Explorer and Nova. He has walked every major battlefield and tracked Hannibal from Carthage through Spain, France, Italy and Turkey.
