On Thursday, April 19, 2018, Los Angeles born and raised hip hop artist Bishop Lamont will host a benefit concert helping to raise funds for organizations at the forefront of ending homelessness in his community: United Way Greater LA, Downtown Women's Center, and Skid Row Housing Trust.
Set to be hosted at The Regent in DTLA, the concert will feature performances by Bishop and friends including Del the Funky Homosapien, Ras Kass, Angie Fisher, Nadirah X, Downtown Sound, DJ 4Real, and more. Tickets start at $40 and doors open at 6:00pm PST. To purchase tickets, visit: https://www.spacelandpresents.com/event/1664635-del-funky-homosapien-ras-los-angeles/.
The concert is a continuation of the artist's latest partnership with the Emmy-Award winning USC Media Institute for Social Change (USC MISC) and new mobile messaging app, Kwippit. Together, the three parties have joined forces to help end homelessness in the City of Los Angeles, as all proceeds from ticket sales and Kwippit channel subscriptions will also be donated back to the concert's beneficiaries.
