Join us on Thursday night, April 19th for a 35mm screening of the Charlie Chaplin brilliant political satire, The Great Dictator. While Chaplin obviously jabs at Hitler, antisemitism, and fascism, the film also happens to be his first talking picture.

Special onstage guests will be author and film historian John Bengtson (Silent Traces: Discovering Early Hollywood Through the Films of Charlie Chaplin)and David Totheroh, grandson of Chaplin’s brilliant cinematographer, Rollie Totheroh! John will be signing his amazing book in the Alex Theatre lobby.

Doors open at 7:00 PM, movie screens at 7:30 PM. This is an all ages show. Tickets are now on sale and available at the door. $16 for adults. $12 for seniors, students, and children under 12.

NOTE: It is always a good idea to verify date, time, location and other information prior to going.
