REDONDO BEACH – Scooble.com has partnered with the 2010 fundraising walk for dog lovers and their friends, Fido & Friends Walk Saturday, April 17, 10:00 a.m. at Veterans Park in Redondo Beach presented by the Wellness Community.
This year’s Fido & Friends Walk event hopes to raise funds for Cancer Patients and their loved ones. Attendees raise pledges and donations for the walk, the highest fund raising fido is then awarded for their efforts and contribution.
Fido & Friends Walk yields great entertainment and a fun filled afternoon complete with K-9 Demonstrations, Animal Adoption, Kathy’s Critter Petting Zoo, Best Doggie Costume Contest, and many amazing pet vendors and exhibitor booths that offer new and exciting products and services for you and your pets.
While you are at the Fido & Friends Walk stop buy and visit the sponsor booth for Scooble.com. If you tell us how you heard about the walk and Scooble.com we will give you free goody bags of special treats.
Check-in and late registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the walk beginning at 10:00 a.m. Festivities will continue into the afternoon. To pre-register or download a registration form, visit http://www.wellnessandcancer.org/dogwalk10.htm. The pre-registration entry fee for the walk is $50 per pooch and $55 for day of the event entry. There is no charge for walkers and spectators of this event.
