Jade Love Kids Foundation is offering a free African-American History after school program for elementary, middle school, and high school students.

This online course seeks to introduce students to the concept of analyzing historical issues in African American history and how black Americans worked towards creating their own history in America. Emphasis is placed on the African American experience, the development of African American community institutions, and African American participation in, and impact on, American society and global society.

The program will be 8 weeks long beginning on September 8th. The classes are Monday-Wednesday for one hour.

Visit jadelovekids.org for more information on available dates and times. JLK also offers Math, Reading, and Arts classes.
