Multi-cultural cast helmed by LA Director Kila Kitu (The Every 28 Hours Plays, Black Women State of the Union) brings to life Playwright Henry Ong’s stage adaptation of Dream of the Red Chamber, based on the beloved 18th century Chinese classic, presented free to the public in four acts over three weekends on Saturdays in April and May outdoors in the Inglewood Amphitheater in Edward Vincent Park. Family Friendly. Attend one day or over many.

10:30am Act I, 12:30 Act II (with one intermission)
Saturday, May 20, Acts II & IV
10:30am Act III, 12:30 Act IV (with one intermission)
Saturday, May 27, Acts I - IV
10:30 am Act I, 12:30 Act II, 2:30 Act III, 4:30 Act IV (with three intermissions)
The performances take place rain or shine. Bring lunch, wear comfortable clothes and shoes. In the event of inclement weather, performances will take place indoors at the Agee Playhouse, also in Vincent Park.
